Shinin’ Stars The DSC team and adult volunteers, consider it a privilege and a calling of God to serve you and your children on a weekly basis. It is our desire that children come to know Jesus in a very real way early in their lives and build a foundation that will not be shaken.
Mission Statement, to partner with parents in providing our children with the skills, experiences, and resources that will enable them to become fully devoted followers of Christ, reveals not only our desire but is the deciding factor in every decision we make regarding the care of your child.
Purpose Statement: · To create an experience for children from newborns through 6th grade that encourages learning. · To provide an experience for children that encourages their desire to attend and return. · To stimulate children's minds through their surroundings. · To explore children's imaginations through creative thought and teaching methods. · To interact with children and have fun through activities and games. · To teach children the truths of God's Word in a relevant, age appropriate fashion.
Our Early Childhood department is a safe and loving environment for children birth through five years. Our teachers and helpers give special care and attention to each child who is entrusted to them during the worship service. Jesus' love, radiating from our teachers, helps your children feel church is a happy place where they are loved and feel secure..

It’s never too early to teach these precious little ones of His great love. We realize that during the early months, babies are forming impressions about the Lord simply by associating the time spent with those who care for them.
