YOUNG MEN’S DISCIPLESHIP

MT. YO.  (Men Together. Young and Old.)

The Lord has an awesome plan for this generation of our young men—and so does the enemy.  The Lord’s plan: to raise up an army of godly men.  The enemy’s plan: to steal, kill and destroy their lives.  What will more guarantee that our young men will be mighty warriors in the Kingdom?  When the older men at DSC make that simple, gutsy effort and spend a little time with our younger men.  Your presence is usually the deciding factor.  Your task: show up, eat, hang out, enjoy the young men, have fun.  Now that’s not too much to ask.

 

We hang out the 2nd & 4th Fridays @ Nathan Paul’s home in South Scottsdale from 6:00—8 pm All men, young men & boys (9+) are invited & encouraged to come!  Bring $4 for food & a soda.   Got questions? Call Mike Paul @ 480.990.7758 or Pastor Michael @ 480.203.9189.

 

PURPOSE: To assist parents in discipling their sons (9-17) and to disciple those whose fathers are absent (physically, emotionally or spiritually).  Our older men disciple our younger men.

 

objectives

· Provide opportunities for the young and older men to get together on a

     regular basis (2 times a month).

● Provide a “rite of passage” and follow up – partnering with fathers

● Provide opportunities for leadership and outreach for the 13-17 year old young men
